Padre Pio: A Special Salutation in Italian

PADRE PIO:

Ciao, bella! Come stai?

I was momentarily surprised to hear such a greeting from the saint. However, his words carried great respect, and in his heart, he seemed to be a sweet, cheerful soul—deeply personal in his approach. Upon reflection, I understood that Padre Pio, being Italian, naturally expressed himself with warmth and a joyful spirit, much like his contemporaries from his homeland.

God gave me the grace to completely understand everything he was saying in Italian. Though precise in his words, he began conveying the wisdom and message that Jesus had entrusted him to bring.

He mentioned how his mission has not ended with his earthly life but continues in a powerful way from Heaven, where he intercedes for the Church and assists souls in their journey to God.
