Souls in Purgatory

Message From A Soul In Purgatory to the Little Apostle on 07/07/25

SOUL IN PURGATORY: Clarita de Jesús

I, a soul in Purgatory, humbly salute you, dear sister. May the Just and Merciful God be eternally glorified and praised for His infinite benevolence. I am Clarita de Jesús, a soul now undergoing purification in Purgatory.

I lived in Peru in the 19th century and, though once respected, I gravely sinned by illicitly disposing of Church property for money. I also aided civil authorities and occult forces in their attempts to weaken the Catholic Church from within, all while pretending to act in kindness and in favor of the Church. I led many faithful into anger against the Church by corrupting their thoughts and instigating conflicts among them. Oh, how shameful it is to reflect on how God saw me throughout my life!

During the final twenty years of my life, I sincerely repented, received the Sacrament of Penance, and was reconciled to the Church, yet I died before I could make full satisfaction for my sins. By God’s mercy, I now await the Beatific Vision in Purgatory, where my purification continues.

Your offering of Masses, the recitation of the Rosary, indulgenced prayers, and other works of mercy can greatly hasten my cleansing. The suffering here is intense at times, but I trust wholly in Divine Mercy.

I lovingly exhort you, the People of God: never speak ill of Holy Mother Church. Love her as your spiritual mother, defend her reputation, and refuse to contribute to scandals or errors within her. If you perceive faults, address them with charity, humility, and prayer—never by tearing the Church down.

My present suffering comes not only from my own sins but also from the scandal I caused against priests and the faithful by encouraging distrust and hostility toward them. At the hour of my death, and again at my Particular Judgment, the Lord allowed me to embrace this purifying fire for my cleansing.

Today, through the intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary, God grants me permission to share this message with you and His faithful. Give thanks for so compassionate a Lord and so tender a Mother! I humbly ask for your prayers.

To all who remember the souls in Purgatory in your prayers, I thank you. We, in turn, unite our prayers with yours until we rejoice together in Heaven.

Farewell!
