St. Teresa of Ávila: God Sends and Withdraws Souls for Your Journey

Message from Saint Teresa Of Avila to the Little Apostle . Received on September 16th, 2025

ST. TERESA OF ÁVILA:

Child of the Most High God,

I come to you in response to the request of Our Lord Jesus Christ, who guides this apostolic mission. Today, I offer you what Heaven desires to bestow through me, for your strengthening and guidance.

In my own journey on earth, especially in my early years as a postulant, I was often affirmed not by exalted voices, but by the novices and humble souls whom the Lord placed around me.

They were sent not only to assist me, but also to help me recognise more clearly the action of His grace within my heart, confirming the truths God had sown there.

There is no witness more worthy or powerful in humble love than those who live in fidelity to Christ, for they can teach the soul what it needs in order to rise and walk the narrow, radiant way of the Gospel.

Today, I remind you—and all who desire to follow our Beloved Lord—that God will place many beautiful souls along your path. At times, He may also withdraw them, either by redirecting their vocation or by leading you forward on a different stage of your journey.

Do not be dismayed.This is not loss, but divine providence—the loving hand of the Father shaping your path with purpose, even when the soul cannot yet see clearly.

Most often, this divine purpose is not immediately evident to the natural mind, nor perceived with human clarity.

But the Spirit of the Living God is always at work—in the Church, in hearts, and throughout the world—leading all who remain faithful into the fullness of His light.
