PART V: Love that Endures Through the Trials of Family Life

Beloved Parents,

To love as God loves is to embrace the Cross within your family. True parental love does not excuse impatience or harshness, but bears with holy patience the trials, misunderstandings, and even the rejection that may arise from your children.

Remain steadfast in love and prayer, even when you are misunderstood or humiliated for being faithful to the Gospel. This is the cost of love — but it is also your share in My Son’s redeeming mission.

Many parents already strive to instruct their children with patience, tolerance, and humility. I thank you for this, and your efforts are commendable.

I rejoice with you in the Heart of My Son. Even when children rebel or show anger, you remain steadfast — immovable against the assaults of the evil one working through weakness — standing firm in love and prayer.

Yet other parents, through frustration or sorrow, may push their children away, ceasing communication or sending them from the home before they are spiritually prepared.

Without proper formation, they are left vulnerable to a culture darkened by sin. Such approaches may seem effective for a time, but they wound hearts and can cause lasting harm.

I encourage you, dear parents, to have patience, to pray, and to seek My Son’s presence in the Blessed Sacrament.

There He will give you daily grace and the strength to stand firm and remain in peace amid family trials.

Strive for unity with your children, even if it means enduring humiliation or misunderstanding.

I bless you with My motherly love, and I pray that you may carry this cross with peace, knowing that My Son walks with you.
