St.Gabriel:Angelic Acclamation of Mary’s Fiat
Message from St. Gabriel to the Little Apsotle on the Solemnity of the Anunciation– March 25, 2025
St. Gabriel, the Archangel:
Greetings from Heaven, beloved Church of Christ.
I, Gabriel, Archangel of the Most High, greet you with joyful tidings from the heavenly court. As you commemorate the solemn feast of the Annunciation, our Lord Jesus Christ extends His gratitude to all who, on this day, tenderly honor His Blessed Mother and her humble fiat—through which God set in motion the beautiful plan for the salvation of humankind.
On that sacred and joyful day, I brought the heavenly greeting to Mary, the humble handmaid chosen by the Almighty to be the Mother of His Divine Son. With her most ardent Yes, quiet trust, and obedience, Heaven and Earth were united, and that blessed moment was adorned with celestial grace. From that instant, the Word became flesh, dwelling among you and illuminating the world’s darkness with His eternal light.
The most pure and ever-virgin Mary shines gloriously as our Queen, reigning over us with her love and revealing the beauty of humanity in its fullness and perfection. All of Heaven rejoices as we, the angels, sing eternal hymns of gratitude in honor of her humble “Fiat.”
Children of the Most High God, we, the angels of the Lord, are always near!

I invite you to reflect on the profound theological significance of the Archangel Gabriel’s message at the Annunciation. According to the Catholic faith, this moment represents the fulfillment of Isaiah’s prophecy and the beginning of the Incarnation, as affirmed in the Gospel of Luke. Gabriel’s greeting to Mary, “Hail, full of grace,” highlights her unique role in salvation history—a truth echoed in the Catechism of the Catholic Church, which teaches that Mary’s fiat made possible the Word becoming flesh for our redemption.
As St. John Paul II wrote in Redemptoris Mater, Mary’s consent to God’s will serves as a model of perfect discipleship, demonstrating total trust and obedience. Gabriel’s announcement and the Church’s teachings on this event underscore the unity of Heaven and Earth in God’s salvific plan, the importance of angelic intercession, and Mary’s continuing role as the Mother of the Church and advocate for all Christians. This sacred moment calls us to a deeper trust in God’s providence, greater devotion to the Blessed Mother, and a renewed commitment to live out our own “fiat” in daily life.
